Job Description

- Provide direct instructional and behavioral support to high-risk high school students, including those in the mild to moderate range of SPED disability categorization, focusing on academic progress and re-engagement.
- Address and support high-truancy students to overcome barriers like poverty, homelessness, and family insecurity, utilizing a flexible and adaptable approach to ensure their return to school and academic success.
- Partner with staff to facilitate communication and support for Spanish-speaking students and families to identify and dismantle barriers to students' attendance and success.
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Paraprofessional Endorsement (Required)
- Short-Term licenses are not eligible for consideration
- Fluency in both English and Spanish (Bilingual) to effectively serve the student population and their families
- Experience working with high-risk youth and similar populations facing extreme challenges such as poverty, homelessness, and family insecurity
- Top Compensation: Competitive compensation ranging from $23.50 - $24.80 Per Hour, based on your experience and qualifications as a Bilingual Paraprofessional, with weekly pay and opportunities for bonuses and incentives.
