- Support and collaborate with Training Specialist
- Facilitate new hire training several times throughout the year as business decides
- Prepare resource material and update product knowledge to remain current
- Deliver supplemental training as per business needs
- Plan and train to specific requirements
- Weekly observations and recap report on new hire training
- Attend internal project meetings and provide input regarding systems, process, and product information
- Build rapport with Licensed Insurance Advisors
- Collaborate with key partners
- Provide post-training support, evaluation and coaching
- Attend calibration meeting in support of consistency and quality
- Train to compliance
- Be the voice of the customer by sharing their feedback with the greater team, and raising any suggestions, concerns, or feedback on how we can improve
- Collaborate with our Instructional Designer team to build engaging training content
- Collaborate with all partners to ensure the training material is tailored to the immediate audience
- Demonstrate compliance and training excellence through updates and regular reporting
- A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, such as education, organizational development, human resources, business administration, communications, etc. is an asset
- Minimum three (3) years’ experience working in training delivery, teaching, coaching and/or facilitation experience
- Must possess the ability to proactively build strong relationships within a diverse organization
- Bilingual individual, proficient in English & French
- Must possess exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple on-going priorities
- Outstanding organizational and planning skills are required
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral in English (Bilingual is an asset)
- You can handle a fast-paced environment with last minute changes and maintain a positive and motivating attitude
- The following would be assets for you to have:
- Full LLQP
- Adult education experience; knowledge of adult learning principles
- Insurance experience dealing with Accident & Sickness, and Life Insurance
- Post-secondary degree: however, equivalent business experience is strongly considered
- Familiarity with Salesforce and learning platforms

Job Description
As a Training Specialist, you are responsible for onboarding all new hires with in-depth product knowledge of Affinity Markets products to successfully sell Health & Dental, Travel and Life Insurance. You will be expected to create and modify training material as needed along with supporting the current Training and Development Specialist. You will handle pre and post training activities including coordinating training dates, calendar invites, system checks, updating a new hire tracker pre training and more.

The annual base salary for this role is listed below.

Salary range is expected to be between
$51,525.00 CAD - $85,875.00 CADIf you are applying for this role outside of the primary location, please contact recruitment@manulife.com for the salary range for your location. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training. Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance.
