Job Description

- Operate both stand-up and sit down forklift.
- Optimize warehouse management to increase efficiency.
- Participate in the development and implementation of store policies and procedures
- Receive the parts and place them in the warehouse.
- Identify parts and label products.
- Maintain inventory rotation (FIFO, MSD).
- Picking parts for manufacturing (BOM)
- Complete receiving and shipping inventory and save all data in the systems.
- Preparing goods for shipment to customers.
- Maintain storage facilities, according to the plans.
- Perform inventories through cyclical and annual physical counts, analyze. discrepancies, perform necessary searches, and record inventory discrepancies.
- Manage the return of defective parts from production.
- Any other tasks related or relevant to the activities of this sector, according to the evolution of the business and/or the emergence of new opportunities.
- The minimum of a Secondary School Diploma (SSD) is required, Attestation of College Studies (Client) in inventory management will be considered an asset.
- Have at least three (3) years of relevant warehouse experience in manufacturing setting.
- Hold a valid forklift license and have an excellent forklift driving record.
- Due to the nature of the job the candidate should be able to lift 50 pounds with assistance.
- Understand the importance of following health and safety rules.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Be thorough and meticulous.
- Ability to read drawings and rapid mental math skills.
- Knowledge of inventory management software.
- Autonomous and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Available for overtime, as needed.
- Knowledge in inspection of pallet racks, an asset.
- A client-first attitude, whether internal or external.
- Be a team player who believes that success comes from working together.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
