Manage the upstream order-to-cash process - work with RevOps to timely close out opportunities within Salesforce, ensuring proper integration with Workday,
Review contracts and build out billing schedules which will set the foundation for billing and revenue recognition. Ensure contracts and billing schedules accurately reflect all contractual terms.
Generate and distribute accurate and timely customer invoices.
Manage and monitor the Accounts Receivable (AR) inbox, responding to customer inquiries timely and professionally and resolving billing discrepancies.
Proactively work with the Customer Success team and directly with customers to obtain necessary purchase orders (POs) prior to service delivery and billing.
Collaborate closely with the Collections team to ensure timely payment
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance billing efficiency and accuracy.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience: 1-3 years of experience in billing, accounting, or finance roles.
Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of accounting principles and billing regulations.
Sound business judgement and ability to work with multiple teams
Experience with Salesforce and Workday a plus

THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Billing Analyst to join our Accounting team. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our upstream order-to-cash process, playing a key part in our billing, collections, revenue recognition and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a thorough understanding of the Order to Cash cycle, and excellent communication abilities. You will be responsible for managing customer contracts, ensuring timely and accurate billing, and collaborating closely with Sales, Revenue Operations, and Customer Success teams. This is a Denver based hybrid remote and in-person role reporting to the Manager, Revenue Accounting.

The compensation range is specific to the posted job location and role and takes into account the wide range of factors considered in making compensation decisions but not limited to skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, performance, and market and peer comparisons. Salary ranges allow for growth opportunities as the employee develops new skills and/or hones current skills. A reasonable range estimate is $52,000 to $65,000 plus applicable bonus.
