- Providing supervision and daily oversight of ECG Billing Specialists to ensure efficient, timely, and accurate processing of accounts receivable
- Maintaining the Deltek Vantagepoint project billing system; acting as a key contact with IT for billing system issues and/or system optimization
- Providing daily guidance and training for Billing Specialists, assuring that all invoices are prompt and accurate
- Performing billing and reporting activities according to specific deadlines
- Working closely with project managers to research and resolve project billing issues and/or discrepancies. Investigating and resolving customer queries
- Developing Vantagepoint billing training for incoming ECG managers
- Assisting in monthly close activities and performing reconciliation duties as well as other financial responsibilities as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, required
- 5+ years of billing experience, 3+ years in a manager or supervisor role
- 3+ years of experience with Deltek Vantagepoint accounting software
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong analytical skills and revenue recognition knowledge
- Keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Preferred locations: Chicago, Dallas, or San Diego. Other locations include: Atlanta, Boston, Minneapolis, St. Louis, or Washington DC
- Hybrid—with an expectation to be in the office two days per week

Join Our Corporate Operations Team
ECG’s Corporate Operations team has 100-plus employees associated with ECG offices across the country. These team members keep the business running, manage payroll and benefits offerings, ensure deliverables are high quality, hire and train employees, market our services, streamline business processes, and much more. Corporate Operations departments include Administrative Services, Business Development, Document Production Center, Finance, Human Resources, IT, and Marketing.

Reporting to the Assistant Controller, you will support the company’s growth by maximizing cash flow through the accurate and timely billing of customer invoices. As a Billing Manager at ECG, you’ll be an important part of our Corporate Operations team. You will partner with some of the industry’s best to make a real difference in people’s lives and grow personally and professionally while doing so. The estimated base salary range for this job is $85,000 – $90,000 annually. It represents a good faith estimate of the range that ECG reasonably expects to pay at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to years of experience, special skills, and market changes. This job is eligible to participate in ECG's annual incentive compensation program, which reflects ECG's pay-for-performance philosophy. The job is also eligible to participate in ECG’s benefit plans, which include medical, dental, and vision coverage; a 401(k) matching program; unlimited PTO; and other wellness programs .
