      Position Summary: Billing Specialist is an entry level position in the Accounting department.

      Duties & Responsibilities:

      • Accurate and efficient entry of timesheets.
      • Verification of raise slips.
      • Ensure completion of billing procedures to meet weekly deadlines.
      • Code and ensure proper approval of cash expenses and motel receipts.
      • Validate all work orders being invoiced.
      • Entry and invoicing of assigned unit billing jobs.
      • Track and reconcile unbilled charges. Requires maintenance of Excel spreadsheet and explanation of charges.
      • Monitor aged Accounts Receivable for unpaid invoices and correspondence with customers to collect unpaid invoices.
      • Other duties as assigned.

      Requirements:

      • High School graduate or higher education (Accounting certificate preferred).
      • Capable of accurate data entry skills, mostly numerical.
      • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and accounting software processes (Excel, Word, Oracle preferred)
      • Fluent understanding of office equipment – copier, scanner, etc..
      • Willing to work over-time as needed.
