What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation and submission of assigned contract billings and related financial reports
- Handle collections for all assigned vendors, generating weekly accounts receivable aging reports
- Provide guidance and support to facilitate DCMA closeout requirements for completed contracts
- Establish and maintain business relationships with internal and external customers
- Ensure compliance with the employer's financial policies and procedures related to invoicing and collections
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience in the Government or Defense industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe software
- High attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively
- Ability to assess, interpret, and apply government and industry standards to billing requirements
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Jamis, Cost Point, WAWF, IPP, or PIEE
- Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
