      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Read and interpret complex government and commercial contracts with assistance from the Billing Lead or Supervisor
      - Create and maintain billing files, ensuring accuracy and timely invoicing
      - Analyze billing details to ensure expenses are reasonable before processing invoices
      - Interact with accountants and project managers to resolve billing-related matters
      - Follow up on unbilled expenses and assist with the reconciliation of receivables

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School diploma or GED equivalent
      - Minimum of one year of billing experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
      - Knowledge of billing terminology and experience with fixed price, cost plus, and time and materials projects
      - Ability to process a high volume of data with a high level of accuracy
      - Proficiency in standard computer software and accounting systems

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
      - Experience billing commercial and government contracts
      - Familiarity with Deltek Costpoint or similar integrated software
      - Exposure to government contracts preferred
      - Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members
