  Vantage has an exciting opportunity for a skilled BIM Modeler to join our
  growing team, working on delivering our exciting data center projects across the EMEA region. As a BIM Modeler , you will be responsible for creating and managing 3D models, drawings and data, using BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks and others. You will also collaborate with the Design & Engineering, Sales Solutions and Construction Fit Out teams, to ensure the quality and
  accuracy of the BIM deliverables.

  
  Responsibilities:

  • Create and update 3D models and drawings using BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks and others

  • Perform clash detection and coordination of BIM models using Navisworks or other software

  • Produce 2D drawings and documentation from BIM models using Revit or other software

  • Maintain BIM standards, workflows and processes

  • Coordinate with other departments to capture and incorporate requirements

  • Audit BIM models and data to ensure compliance with Vantage DC standards and requirements

  • Keep up to date with the latest BIM technologies and best practices

  • Develop design options from high level technical input

  • Explore new technologies and solutions to enhance our digital information and project delivery capabilities

  • Manage asset data within the Asset Information Model (AIM)

  
  Qualifications & Requirements:

  • 4-5 years of experience as a BIM Modeler, BIM Technician or similar role

  • Bachelor’s degree, HNC or an equivalent qualification in engineering, architecture, design or related field is desirable

  • Proficient in BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks and others

  • Proficient with modelling architecture, structure and MEP building services designs

  • Proficient in the use and management of Common Data Environments

  • Understanding of Dynamo and other automation tools is desirable

  • Knowledge of Autodesk ACC, Bluebeam, SharePoint and Procore is desirable

  • Knowledge of German and European CAD/modelling standards is desirable

  • Understanding of the ISO 19650 suite of standards

  • Knowledge of BIM standards, workflows, and processes

  • Familiarity with civil, structural, architectural, and engineering principles and practices

  • Maintain and create object library content

  • Experience with data center/mission critical projects is desirable

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

  • Attention to detail and quality

  • The ability to work as a team or autonomously

  • Experience of 4D/5D/6D BIM would be beneficial

  • There may be a requirement to occasionally travel to support projects – this is expected to be 5-10% of time when required
