- Req#: BIMCA011830
- Use AutoCAD MEP 3D, Revit and Navisworks Software to prepare BIM Models of electrical systems, (distribution equipment, feeders, lighting, wiring devices, branch circuiting, etc.)
- Participate in BIM Coordination meetings with General contractors and other MEP trades.
- Assist in the evaluation and coordination of material requirements with field supervisors.
- Create shop drawings from the 3D model to facilitate installation of electrical systems.
- Ensure delivery of up-to-date drawings and installation instructions to the job site.
- Ensure efficient document control of BIM models, shop drawings and installation documents.
- Performs other duties as assigned or requested as they relate to BIM/CAD project coordination.
- 1-4 years of experience in commercial electrical design/detailing or 3D modeling.
- 2-year or 4-year degree in a related engineering, design or construction field preferred. An equivalent amount of work experience will be considered.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, national and local building codes.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, as well as with customers and vendors.
- Advanced PC skills, specifically in a Windows environment, including Excel, Outlook, Word, Bluebeam Revu and related software.
