      Bioinformatics Analyst I

      Job Description:

      - Pipeline Development & Optimization: Develop, maintain, and optimize bioinformatics pipelines for NGS data, including demultiplexing, quality control, alignment, and downstream analyses. Collaborate with the Cyber Infrastructure team to establish seamless, end-to-end data flow, integrating sequencing data with data management systems.

      - Bioinformatics Analysis: Assist with bioinformatics analyses for a variety of applications, including RNA-Seq, single-cell RNA-Seq, ChIP-Seq, ATAC-Seq, spatial transcriptomics, genome assembly and annotation, variant calling, functional analysis, and metagenomics projects.

      - Additional Duties: Support other bioinformatics-related tasks and departmental needs as required.

      Expected Salary:

      $60,000 - $65,000

      Minimum Requirements:

      A bachelor's degree in appropriate area of specialization.

      Preferred Qualifications:

      - Understanding of biostatistics and scientific data visualization.
      - Experience with pipeline frameworks (e.g., Nextflow, Snakemake).
      - Application of AI/ML methods to omics data analysis.
      - Experience working with LIMS systems, particularly integrating sequencing workflows.
