      Shift: 1st shift/Full Time

      Job SummaryUnder general supervision, this position provides medical equipment repair and maintenance, performing substantial maintenance, safety testing and routine repairs.

      Responsibilities

      1. Performs significant preventative maintenance/safety tests/calibration for equipment2. Provides equipment repair throughout responsible area.3. Performs safety testing and operational repairs on the above-mentioned equipment. 4. Assists in the ordering of parts and supplies necessary for the servicing of equipment.5. Participation in the identification of value added enhancements.6. Promotes the safe effective use of clinical equipment.7. Maintains effective professional customer relations and communication.8. Performs cross training to other technicians on acquired skills.9. Performs other duties as assigned.

      Qualifications

      Education & Training: Associate degree in a related field preferred.

      Experience: Entry level to three years of related experience. Must keep up-to-date on technological and medical advances. Must maintain up-to-date understanding of The Joint Commission, NFPA and other regulatory agencies/standards. Must have the ability to repair and maintain a wide variety of equipment.

      License & Certification: BMET certification preferred.
