- Daily servicing of medical devices.
- Consistently uphold and exceed QA and QC standards while meeting production goals by adhering to established protocols, working efficiently, and collaborating with team members to ensure high-quality results and optimal workflows.
- Delivering cost-effective and timely maintenance of medical devices to meet customer needs.
- Recording key details of service actions and observations regarding devices conditions and operations. This essential process helps build a device's history and provides customers with more valuable insights. Precisely adhere to established processes and procedures to diagnose, test, and recertify devices.
- Accurately inputting work orders into the company CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), including correct details on parts, labor, equipment, and performance results.
- Comprehend and implement the principles of 5S workplace organization.
- Ensure completion of annual compliance training to maintain regulatory standards, uphold company policies, and promote a culture of accountability and ethical practices.
- Provide valuable feedback to leadership regarding emerging issues with devices and processes, contributing to continuous improvements in service quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Stay flexible, open-minded, and eager to learn while sharing knowledge with colleagues, ensuring that the team collectively meets and exceeds customer expectations at all times.
- Consistently and efficiently perform routine maintenance and repairs on a select range of device models, covering the moderate amount of the assigned business segment fleet.
- Continuously expand pump model expertise by learning new devices to meet customer needs.
- Perform advanced repair assessments and provide accurate initial cost estimations for the devices.
- Troubleshoot medical devices to identify malfunctions and address the reported issues from the customer, ensuring timely and effective resolutions to maintain device functionality and patient safety.
- Perform other related duties as required to support departmental goals and organizational needs.
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED) with two years’ related troubleshooting and repair in electronic or mechanical devices experience and/or training.
- Exceptional verbal and communication skills as well as strong organizational skills.
- Ability to read and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.

We provide direct payer rentals, pump and consumable sales, and biomedical services and repair, serving all 50 states and Canada. SUMMARY:
The Biomedical Technician II plays a key role in ensuring the proper functioning of medical devices. This position involves, testing, repairs, preventive maintenance, and evaluating medical devices to ensure they meet performance standards. The Biomedical Technician II is responsible for accurately documenting all service actions into the company CMMS (computerized maintenance management system), updating device status and identification in company records, and ensuring compliance with all relevant procedures. Always demonstrating our “Customer is 1st” culture by taking ownership, doing the right thing, and solving their problems.
IN THIS ROLE, THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL:
Submit ONE of the following (A, B, or C).
A. Designated Representative-Wholesaler Experience Affidavit(form 17A-E2): Submit this form documenting completion of a minimum of one year of paid work experience in the past three years, related to the distribution or dispensing of dangerous drugs or dangerous devices in a licensed pharmacy, drug wholesaler, drug distributor, or drug manufacturer. Do NOT include all employment dates, only paid work experience dates. An applicant may not sign as the person with direct knowledge of the applicant’s experience.

If the one year of paid work experience was gained at multiple facilities, submit an experience affidavit form (form 17A-E2) for each facility where paid work experience was gained.

If your paid work experience was obtained in a facility not licensed by the California State Board of Pharmacy, you must request a License Verification to be completed by the appropriate authority which licensed the facility and submit the License Verification with your application.
B. Eligible for Pharmacist Examination: Include documentation that clearly identifies that you meet the prerequisites to take the examination required for licensure as a pharmacist. This may include an official transcript documenting your graduation from a recognized school of pharmacy, or your Foreign Pharmacist Graduate Equivalency Committee (FPGEC) certificate and completed intern hours if you are a foreign educated pharmacist.
C. Out-of-State Licensed Pharmacist: Include a copy of your current pharmacist license as well as submitting a Verification of License in Another State form (17A-16) SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
