  Join Getinge Applikon as Bioreactor Application Specialist

  Are you a driven and enthusiastic professional with a passion for bioreactors? We are looking for an Application Specialist Small Projects for our location in Delft. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible in our back-office team for promoting and realizing the sales of our custom single-use and multi-use laboratory-scale bioreactors. You will play a crucial role in supporting our global sales organization and customers with technical and commercial inquiries. Additionally, you will be responsible for calculating small projects, preparing quotes, and converting them into orders, ensuring perfect alignment with both the customer and the internal organization.

  What will you do?

  • Contribute to and prepare the operational annual plan for bioreactor applications.
  • Calculate small projects based on customer requests and technical specifications.
  • Prepare and send quotes for custom lab-scale and pilot-production-scale bioreactor systems.
  • Support the conversion of quotes into orders and ensure seamless coordination with global sales and the customer.
  • Visit customers and conferences internationally to support the global sales organization
  • Verify commercial orders for technical accuracy and completeness.
  • Respond to technical and commercial questions from global sales.
  • Manage and monitor quotation requests, orders, and other commercial correspondence.
  • Provide commercial support for demo activities.
  • Report market trends and product alignment based on market feedback.
  • Support Project Managers with technical and commercial aspects of small projects.
  • Train and educate distributors and Sales Service colleagues from Getinge.

  Knowledge, skills and experience

  • A completed HBO education, preferably in commerce supplemented with microbiology and/or (bio)process technology.
  • Experience in a back-office team within a technical or life science environment.
  • Excellent commercial and communication skills.
  • The ability to work independently and flexibly.
  • Excellent command of the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written.
  • Willingness to travel internationally.
  • Possession of a driver's license B.
