What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate on the design of clinical research studies and write biostatistical analysis plans
- Manage, analyze, and interpret study data and results, contributing to publications
- Educate team members on statistical methods and study design
- Provide statistical consultations to clinical principal investigators
- Participate in research committees and assist in manuscript preparation as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Master's degree in biostatistics or a closely related field
- Minimum of 4 years of experience performing statistical analysis in a healthcare environment
- Proven experience managing large datasets in a healthcare setting
- Advanced proficiency with statistical software packages, preferably SAS or R
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to convey quantitative information effectively
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in logistic regression, time-to-event (survival), and observational data analysis methods
- Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude to work effectively in a team environment
- Detail-oriented with excellent validation and documentation skills
- Critical thinking skills for providing statistical support to clinical investigators
