***This position is for the 25-26 school year
This is a full-time position with benefits. The School Designated Guest Teacher (permanent substitute) will report to the school each instructional day (170 instructional days + 4 paid holidays = 174 days). The SDGT will be assigned to a school location and perform the instructional and classroom management processes for teachers who are absent within the school.
(* Travel requirement: If there are no teacher absences at the assigned school on a particular day, the SDGT may be required to fill a teacher absence at another school location that day.)
Minimum requirement: Must have a Bachelor's Degree
**Salary is a "DAILY RATE" based on the board approved salary schedule for the 2025-2026 school year!

$20,000 life insurance policy - paid for by the State of Kentucky
$30,000 life insurance policy - paid for by Bullitt County Public Schools
Health Insurance (employee monthly premium based on plan selected)
or Waiver HRA or Waiver HRA limited purpose
Sick Leave and Personal Leave and Emergency Leave (prorated depending upon start date)
Personal Leave not used in school year rolls over to sick leave
Earn 2 more sick days if you do not use any sick leave during school year
