Join us for this incredible opportunity to be part of our Sales team at Blue Duck Tavern as our Private Dining Specialist here at Park Hyatt Washington. You will be part of an elite luxury sales team that sells and services events at our Michelin Acclaimed Restaurant.

      The Private Dining Specialist is responsible for booking reservations, selling and servicing private events and Chef’s tables for the restaurant. This position works closely with Blue Duck Tavern Managers in contract negotiations and servicing accounts. Primary service efforts are in Food, Beverage and Setup that include menu planning, agenda setting, and hotel meeting services, hospitality amenities and special VIP requests. Duties also include but are not limited to contract review and facilitating communication before, during and post event with pertinent hotel staff to ensure a high level of service. Also, assist in hosting site inspections as needed, participate and/or lead event meetings and other staff meetings.

      Qualifications:

      • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
      • Refined verbal and written communication skills.
      • Must be proficient in general computer knowledge
      • Prefer a four-year hospitality degree or equivalent experience
      • Prefer 18 months hotel experience
      • Geographically mobile

      Hourly Range:

      $26 to $27.25

      This position offers an incentive through a sales bonus program, with the potential to earn up to 23.6% per quarter.
