  BlueYonder Transportation Management System (BY TMS) - Senior Consultant

  Location: Warsaw/Wrocław/Katowice

  Hybrid model: 2 days office/3 days remote

Most of your time will be spent embedded with and leading BY TMS solutions, and we'll look to you to provide our clients with a unique business perspective on how they must continue to innovate and remain competitive in this ever-changing industry.

  Your key responsibilities

  You will focus on the evaluation, design, customization and optimization of BY TMS solutions. You will lead EY, client and applicable software provider teams, as well as team with various EY groups with digital capabilities, to pursue and deliver digital engagements and deliver solutions that will bring our clients' digital vision and strategy to life.

  • Working and leading project teams through agreed-upon phases of project governance, requirements definition, vendor selection, risk analysis, customization, testing, training, and rollout of a client's project life cycle
  • Owning and collaborating with team members in developing applicable methodologies, tools, approaches, points of view, thought leadership and accelerators to differentiate EY in the digital and emerging technology consulting market
  • Providing broad technical and functional knowledge of various key technology and business platforms
  • Developing long-term relationships and networks both internally and externally
  • Interacting and communicating effectively with teammates, clients, stakeholders, and executives

  To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Experience Bachelor’s degree and five or more years of related work experience and responsibilities delivering projects in supply chain management, logistics domain
  • Led and been responsible for Blue Yonder TMS modules with deep functional and domain expertise and hands-on experiences in configurations, training, knowledge transfer, customer communications and documentations
  • Knowledge of the Transportation Modeler for Modeling Logistics Network
  • Experience in designing solutions across all modes of Transportation, i.e., Truck Load, Less Than Truck Load, Ocean, Air and Parcel
  • Worked on at least one to two full E2E TMS implementations in large and complex environments
  • Led and facilitated workshop sessions and managed projects, resources and deliverables

  Led and participated in:

  • Gathering business requirements
  • Analysing and transforming to application requirements
  • Performing fit-gap analysis
  • Leading Functional Design approval process
  • Interacting with the development team to test and deliver the solution
  • Assisting customer during UAT
  • Preparing and reviewing documentation

  Subject-matter knowledge in the following Transportation areas:

  • Order Management
  • Planning
  • Execution
  • Visibility
  • Dock Scheduling & Appointments
  • Shipping
  • Fleet Management
  • Knowledge of other leading transportation solutions such as Oracle and SAP
  • Systems and data integration experiences

  Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Engaging with business partners and IT to understand requirements from various parts of an organization to drive the design, programming execution, and UAT for future state capabilities within the platform
  • Working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment while managing multiple projects and strict deadlines
  • Certifications and prior consulting experience

  • Functional and technical Experience in BY TMS & TMOD
  • Documenting requirements and processes (e.g., Process flows)
  • Working collaboratively in a team environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • BY Accreditation (Functional & Technical) will be an added advantage
