      JOB SUMMARY - Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

      Looking for a dynamic, ethical Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with experience in
      embedding verbal behavior programming in a classroom setting. Must have an understanding
      of child development and be comfortable using developmental milestones in treatment
      planning for children with ASD. Experience with staff training and caregiver coaching a plus!

      PURPOSE OF POSITION:
      The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) that will provide quality
      care and support to individuals and their families by coordinating and providing Applied Behavior Analysis
      (ABA) services, functional analyses and assessments, behavior acquisition and reduction procedures, and
      adaptive life skills for children with developmental delays, disabilities, and autism spectrum disorders (ASD).
      Under the supervision of the Program Manager and Director of ABA/Autism Services, the CBS
      provides direct ABA services, clinical supervision, consultation, and parent training/education to children
      and families seen through the ESNG Child Development Centers and Babies Can’t Wait. They oversee a
      team of behavior technicians (BTs) who provide developmental and autism-related services. Treatment will
      occur in various locations such as the home of the child, child development center classrooms, ABA clinic,
      or other locations specified.

      Qualifications


      MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) - Part-time:

      Education and Credentials:
      *Master’s degree in psychology, education, or related field
      *Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

      Preferred Education and Credentials:

      *Master's degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in early childhood
      education/development, early childhood special education, applied behavior analysis, psychology
      or related field.
      * Must be a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

      Experience:
      * Experience in designing treatment goals based on child development and
      developmental milestones.
      * Expertise in the implementation and oversight of comprehensive and focused
      programming for children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder.
      * Experience in early childhood education and child development.

      Preferred Experience:
      * Two to five years of related professional experience working with children with Autism Spectrum
      Disorders (ASD) in a multi-disciplinary team setting as a BCBA.
      * Two to five years’ experience providing parent training in person and via telehealth.
      * Expertise in team building and utilizing BST to train and supervise a team of behavior
      technicians.
      * Experience providing classroom consultation and transitioning skills across a variety of
      environments.
      * Experience working with children 12 months -7 years.

      PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
      * The ability to stand for sustained periods of time.
      * The ability to sit for sustained periods of time.
      * The ability to walk for sustained periods of time including responding quickly to safety concerns
      * The ability to use hands and fingers to feel, operate a computer, and perform picking, pinching and
      whole hand or arm handling tasks.
      * The ability to climb stairs.
      * The ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, sit on the floor, or crawl as needed when working with small
      children on their level.
      * The ability to reach, extending arms in any direction.
      * The ability to push or pull objects weighing > 25 pounds.
      * The ability to lift and carry a child up to age 5
      * The ability to talk in order to accurately exchange information.
      * The ability to hear in order to accurately exchange information.
      * The ability to see clearly in order to maintain child safety and supervision, use a computer, and for
      extensive reading and writing.
      * The ability to work in both indoor conditions and outdoor conditions.

      OTHER DUTIES:
      * Performs other duties as assigned by management.
