      Role Mission: u00A0 The IDEA u00A0 Board Certified Behavior Analyst u00A0 (BCBA) demonstrates knowledge and skill in u00A0 providing behavior analysis services and behavior management plans for u00A0 students with Autism in the age range of 3-9 years old through the SOAR u00A0 (Successful Outcomes through Autism Resources) . The BCBA will u00A0 provide support and professional learning to school site staff, u00A0 RBTs, u00A0 co-teachers, and parents u00A0 in appropriate behavior intervention techniques; conducts assessments and develops plans that conform to u00A0 state and federal legal frameworks. u00A0

      Language for regional roles: This is a full-time position located in Austin. Preference will be given to candidates who live in the region, or who are willing to relocate.

      In this role you will:

      u00A0

      • Supports Special Education teachers in developing Functional Behavior Assessments that yield strong Behavior Intervention Plans u00A0
      • Coaches school staff and parents in implementing behavior supports consistently to support students with Autism in moving into the least restrictive environment u00A0 u00A0
      • Follows correct procedures for maintaining records and services. u00A0 u00A0 u00A0
      • Train registered behavior technicians on ABA and studentu2019s program and initial RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) training u00A0 u00A0
      • Directly observe treatments/services administered by RBTs u00A0 u00A0
      • Review RBTu2019s documentation and data collection and provides feedback u00A0
        u00A0
      • Develop and oversee parent trainings to facilitate generalization of skills across all environments. u00A0
      • Develop and oversee General Education teacher trainings to ensure an understanding of how to provide behavioral supports for students in mainstream environments. u00A0
      • Develop and oversee Special education Teacher trainings to ensure consistent implementation of appropriate behavioral supports. u00A0

      • The BCBA may supervise the Registered Behavior Technician Assistant (RBTA) , depending on the region u00A0

      Required Experience

      u00A0

      • Masteru2019s degree in Behavioral Analysis required u00A0
      • Valid certification as a BCBA in the state of Texas u00A0
      • 1+ years of experience as a BCBA u00A0 u00A0

      Compensation & Benefits :

      Salaries for people entering this role typically fall between $78,900 and $92,000, commensurate with relevant experience and qualifications and in alignment with internal equity. This role is also eligible for performance pay based on organizational performance and goal attainment.
