What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to evaluate behavior, skills, and needs
- Develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Design and implement evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) interventions tailored to each client's unique needs
- Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on client progress and emerging needs
- Supervise and mentor Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other direct support staff
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing with the BACB
- Doctoral or Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, or related discipline
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods
- Strong language skills to read, write, and present information effectively
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in implementing Applied Behavior Analysis programming with behavioral intervention
- Knowledge of CPT codes and payor rules/regulations
- Familiarity with crisis management procedures and de-escalation techniques
- Ability to analyze technical information and write technical materials
