What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to evaluate behavior, skills, and needs
- Develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) based on assessment results and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Design and implement evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) interventions tailored to each client's unique needs
- Supervise and mentor Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other direct support staff, providing training and feedback
- Maintain detailed records and prepare reports to track patient progress and communicate with stakeholders
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing with the BACB
- Doctoral or Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, or a related discipline
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Must have reliable transportation
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience implementing Applied Behavior Analysis programming with behavioral intervention
- Knowledge of age-appropriate activities/behaviors and accepted treatment modalities
- Familiarity with crisis management procedures and ethical guidelines in behavior analysis
- Ability to engage with community resources and support networks
