      Key Responsibilities

      • Train to perform in-service inspections of boilers and pressure vessels to ensure compliance with applicable codes and jurisdictional requirements.
      • Train to properly document all inspections and assessments in accordance with company and client standards.
      • Train to ensure compliance with applicable sections of the ASME, National Board and jurisdictional code requirements.
      • Attend and pass the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspector’s In-Service inspector’s course

      COMPETENCIES

      • Demonstrated experience in the boiler and pressure vessel industry, such as design fabrication, operation, repair and alteration, inspection, and nondestructive examination, or quality control systems.
      • Minimum of four years of relevant experience.
      • The ability to maintain a territory.
      • Be able to interact with customers and provide excellent customer service.
      • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
      • Technical Skills: Pursue training and development opportunities; strive to continuously build knowledge and skills; share expertise with others; ability to successfully complete Bureau Veritas required training.

      REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

      • High School Diploma or equivalent
      • Technical training in boiler and pressure vessel operations, maintenance, repairs or inspections.

      PREFERRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

      • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline
