  Adecco is assisting a local client in Hopkinsville, KY to fill a Boiler Operator position. This is an immediate fill, temp to hire opportunity.

  Pay Rate: $13.00 - $13.50

  Hours: 3pm – 11pm

  RESPONSIBILITIES:
  Assist in the operation and maintenance of the boiler and auxiliary mechanical equipment.

  · Perform beginning level duties in the operation of stationary boilers and auxiliary mechanical equipment.

  · Learns the proper maintenance, adjustment and repair of boilers, pumps, turbines, compressors, steam lines, water lines, valves, water softeners, and all related equipment.

  · Learns proper reading of gauges and recording of readings.

  · Maintains cleanliness of facility work areas and other areas as required.

  · Responds to emergencies.

  · Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.

  · Other duties as assigned.

  QUALIFICATIONS:
  Education, training and/or experience which would clearly demonstrate the essential functions, knowledge and skills listed.

  Ability up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Ability to stand during entire shift.

  Employees must always be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests, managers and fellow employees. Assist in the security of the resort for the safety of the guests and employees. Comply with fire, health and safety regulations.

  REQUIREMENTS:

  Must be a High School Graduate.

  Must have a valid Driver's License.
