- Fabrication and Repairs on Mining Equipment
- Utilise computerised maintenance management systems; (SAP desirable)
- Maintaining a high level of housekeeping in the workshop
- Undertaking training and upskilling as required;
- Attending to breakdowns and problem diagnosing;
- Scheduled maintenance and installations;
- Work independently where required but within a team environment;
- Experience in facilitating and participating in job risk assessment
- Current Australian Recognised Trade Certificate
- Previous experience working as a Boilermaker (Coal preferably)
- Have demonstrated experience with mining equipment, Draglines, shovels, drills, excavators
- Current Australian Drivers Licence
- Valid Confined Space and Working at heights (desirable)
- Full-time, permanent position
- 7/7 – day shift only roster
- Based at our Dawson Mine in Moura, QLD
- This role will be offered under the Dawson Mines Collective Enterprise Agreement 2021 (EBA)
- Suitable for both residential and DIDO commuting. Subsidised accommodation is on offer with this role (camp accommodation).

An opportunity exists for an experience, qualified Boilermaker to join our Field Maintenance team at our Dawson Mine in Moura, on a 7-7 day shift roster
This is a permanent full-time role reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor and working within the Field Planned Maintenance (PM) team you will carry our preventive, general maintenance, and repair work on Draglines, Rope Shovels, Excavators, and Overburden Drills. .
You will ideally possess at least two (2) years’ experience working with mine site equipment.
You will enjoy the challenge of maintaining equipment, diagnosing problems, implementing preventative maintenance and have knowledge of SAP and Observer.
