      Division : Weir Minerals
      Location: Batu Caves Malaysia
      Onsite - Shift


      Purpose of Role: The Boiler-man is accountable for the optimum operation of the boilers, compressors, fire system and smooth supplies of all other required utilities in the WMM site , including reliability and uptime of the machines.

      Key Responsibilities:
      · Plan and coordinate all maintenance activities pertaining to the powerhouse and facilities. Responsible for developing, planning and scheduling of preventive maintenance programs whilst ensuring that established plans, procedures and schedules are followed.
      · Perform routine cleaning, inspection and safe operation of boilers, air compressors, chillers, firefighting equipment's and etc.

      · Actively participate in Sustainability Projects

      · Perform any other job/function that may be assigned by Superior
      · Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.


      Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
      · Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered for candidates that have the ability to perform the objectives above.
      · Candidates must possess at least a Secondary School/SPM/O-Level in any field.
      · Certified Boiler-man by DOSH Malaysia, Grade 1
      · Knowledge of TPM and SAP is an added advantage
