    • Maintains financial records for all activity accounts.
    • Keeps an inventory of all supplies.
    • Issues purchase orders for all budgeted and fee accounts.
    • Assists with processing leave requests.
    • Manages student insurance.
    • Completes financial reports as necessary.
    • Reconciles invoices, bank statements and reports.
    • Performs general office duties such as answering the telephone, greeting visitors, distribution of mail, copying and maintenance of office machines.
    • Provides back-up for the secretary and attendance clerk.
    • Performs Other duties as assigned.

      Salary: $27,029 (based on verified full-time experience and education)

      Location: Lamar High School

      Available: Immediately

      FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

      Qualifications:

      • High School diploma or equivalent required
      • Strong data entry and computer skills required
      • Strong customer service skills required
      • Bookkeeping skills preferred

      Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable

      Responsible To: Principal

      Job Goal: To ensure accurate financial reporting relating to all school accounts, effective maintenance of records and reports and general office duties necessary for the efficient operation of the school office.

      Performance Responsibilities:

      • Receipts and deposits all school monies.
      • Maintains financial records for all activity accounts.
      • Keeps an inventory of all supplies.
      • Issues purchase orders for all budgeted and fee accounts.
      • Assists with processing leave requests.
      • Manages student insurance.
      • Completes financial reports as necessary.
      • Reconciles invoices, bank statements and reports.
      • Performs general office duties such as answering the telephone, greeting visitors, distribution of mail, copying and maintenance of office machines.
