What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Perform bank reconciliations and deposit processing
- Handle bi-weekly or semi-monthly payroll processing
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) is required
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping best practices is required
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with GAAP is a plus
- Experience with nonprofit and/or fund accounting is a plus
- Experience with ShelbyNEXT Financial is a plus
