- Perform day-to-day accounting activities for accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
- Review inventory and work order transactions to identify trends, errors, and variances.
- Receive, record, and authorize disbursements in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Prepare financial statements, cash flow reports, and business activity reports.
- Maintain current knowledge of organizational policies and procedures, and current accounting standards.
- Recommend changes to procedures as necessary.
- Produce and distribute monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to stakeholders.
- Accounts payable and receivable management
- Bookkeeping and general ledger maintenance
- Invoicing and financial statement preparation
- Financial reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience
- Experience with Sage 100 and ADP systems
- Manufacturing industry experience
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and IRS codes
- Familiarity with applicable industry laws and regulations

Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous Bookkeeper to perform day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions. This role involves reviewing inventory and work order transactions to identify trends, errors, and variances. You will be responsible for receiving, recording, and authorizing disbursements in accordance with company policies and procedures. The Bookkeeper will prepare financial statements, cash flow reports, business activity reports, and other required reports. Staying updated with organizational policies and current accounting standards is essential, and you will recommend procedural changes as necessary. You will also produce and distribute monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to stakeholders.

Work Environment
This is a full-time onsite position in a manufacturing (blue collar) environment, with working hours from 8am to 5pm. There is an opportunity to work hybrid/remote after the training period.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
