      Job Description

      We are currently seeking a Stock Controller who will report to the Store Manager as part of our dynamic Bond Street team.

      Your opportunity


      The Stock Controller guarantees the merchandise is properly received and stored in good condition, tidy and positioned as per the merchandise management guidelines. They are the point of reference for stock movements and inventory.

      MERCHANDISE RECEPTION

      • Receives the goods, takes care of unloading packages and the relative bar code scanning

      • Checks the goods quantity and quality, verifies the relative transport documents

      • Records the stock of the product received in the warehouse on the goods movement system (JDA and Automatic Receiving)

      • Informs people in charge of eventual mismatching

      STORAGE

      • Guarantees that the goods in the warehouse are stored in alignment with the merchandise management guidelines, in good condition, tidy and positioned in an efficient manner, with the sellers being able to use the products and each individual item being immediately identifiable

      • Monitors the warehouse space according to goods reception and FOH needs


      STOCK MOVEMENTS

      • Organizes transfers between stores and “return to vendor”, preparing the goods, checking their condition and the code before sending.

      • Knows how to prepares the relative documents (e.g. Cites forms, proforma, etc.) if needed

      • Collaborates with SM and ASM to ensure the consignment procedure is followed, identifying the goods in the store but not available.

      • Handles omnichannel services: pick up in store, ship from store and distant sales shipments

      • Supports the After sales management following the policy and with the support of the available tools (if the store doesn’t have an assistant operations)


      INVENTORY

      • Collaborates with the inventory control office to properly execute the stock inventory (monthly cycle counts, yearly full inventory count)

      • Is committed in reducing the stock losses


      ADMINISTRATIVE ACTIVITIES

      • Prepares the merchandise re-tagging after prices changes

      • Keeps track of all CITES items in store with the proper documentation attached and filed

      • Carries out daily checks, using a dedicated report (JDA system), on the status of the sold material and the stock in the warehouse, and is responsible for topping up the product on the sales floor and sending any replenishment requests to the Merchandising office

      • Interfaces with the Operations office on indication of the Manager, to order packaging, and with external suppliers to order material such as stationery, uniforms, beverages, etc. (if the store doesn’t have an assistant operations)
