      Job Title: PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

      Department: Operations

      Reports To: Plant Manager

      FLSA Status: Exempt

      Backup: Plant Manager or Bottling Supervisor

      Salary: $64,100-80,200

      SUMMARY: The Production Supervisor is responsible for the overall operations of the bottling, bulk, and scheduling.

      ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

      • Analyze company Overall Equipment Effectiveness policy such as materials, logistics
      • Ensure company policies and procedures along with plant-wide safety program are followed.
      • Ensure customer satisfaction through preventive policies and continuous product quality improvements.
      • Ensure plant sanitation and quality standards are consistent with federal, state, local, and company requirements.
      • Manage assets and ensure inventory accuracy.
      • Ensure adherence to applicable quality, manufacturing standards and GMPs.
      • Oversee the development, implementation, and adherence of SOP’s that result in improved product quality and efficiency levels.

      EDUCATION

      • High School Diploma or GED equivalent, required.
      • Associate Degree, required.
      • Bachelor’s Degree, preferred or equivalent education experience.

      EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

      • 2 – 5 years of related management experience within a food processing, bottling, liquid filling/blending and/or consumer goods manufacturing/packaging environment.
      • 3 – 5 year experience supervising a team of (6) or more within a manufacturing environment.
      • 1 – 3 year experience with Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Maintenance, Transportation, Packaging and Safety.
      • Experience with Microsoft AX and/or SAP, preferred.
      • Ability to work with all levels within in the organization.
      • Ability to be organized and results drive.
      • Good work attitude, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
      • Continuous mental and visual attention is required to perform duties, involving repetitive or diversified work requiring constant alertness or activity, required.
      • Continuous standing, walking and reaching.
      • Ability to work in extreme temperatures, working at heights and exposure to dust, gases, fumes and chemicals.
      • Intermittent crouching/stooping, pushing/pulling, bending and lifting/lowering.
      • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance, or up to 100 pounds with assistance.
      • Intermittent crouching/stooping, pushing/pulling, bending and lifting/lowering.
      • Must be able to perform on-call duty on any shift and work overtime on short notice basis.
      • Must be able to work Long-term, temporary assignments to any shift may be required to maintain manufacturing processes.
      • Ability to work in a continuously hot environment.
      • Duties are performed with exposure to noise.
