- Pernod Ricard Global Travel Retail, the global and EMEA home of the group’s duty free, air travel and cruises business.
- The Absolut Group, the brand owner of our global white spirits portfolio, whose Gin brand unit and Business Acceleration team sit in London.
- Dry Goods Scheduling – to prepare Materials Plan for delivery and secure agreement from Dry Goods team, communicating the required capacity for operational stock holding. You will also work with the Dry Goods team to understand the available capacity for the hall by commodity and embed a planning and capacity management process, holding regular review meetings to sign off the schedule and review the previous week in relation to line movement / number of planned changes, delivery failures, capacity risks and stock utilisation. You will also communicate back to the Material Planner where internal stock adjustments or quality issues require an adjustment to the materials plan and identify, populate, and maintain materials capacity fields.
- Supporting Production – to focus on the aligned production hall and ensure space and line movement is accommodated. You will also attend daily production meetings for the hall, anticipate risks for the week and confirm schedule.
- Continuous Improvement – to highlight opportunities for Kanban to the Materials Planner and drive systems improvement initiatives to automate scheduling process and remove nonvalue adding tasks. You will be an advocate for change and drive supply chain strategy.
- Suppliers – to use the DIR process to manage supplier performance, developing a way of capturing costs and feeding back accountability.
- Have experience in transactional Supply Chain and Manufacturing functions, ideally within the Drinks industry or FMCG sector.
- Have an understanding of cross-functional supply chain processes, including suppliers and compliance (HMRC).
- Have sound knowledge of E1 or ERP system transactions relevant to planning roles.
- Hold a clean UK driving license.
- Are an advanced user of Excel and other Microsoft packages.

Your new team
This position sits in our Chivas Brothers business. At Chivas Brothers, our 1,600-strong team across 27 sites is committed to upholding the heritage of Scotch and ensuring its sustainable future, as well as opening it up to new audiences across the globe.
The scope of Operations stretches from Procurement through conversion (distillation and maturation) and manufacturing (or bottling) to all the downstream Supply Chain activities until the final product is delivered. In addition, Operations play a very active role in Innovation, Talent Development and Operational Risk Management.
The Manufacturing Supply Chain team are based in Glasgow and Dumbarton and oversee all aspects of our supply chain including production & material planning, bill of materials management, demand planning, logistics, direct sourcing, and customer service.
Your unique contribution
The Bottling Hall Scheduler will deliver excellent customer service by working across the CBL manufacturing supply chain, including internal stakeholders, suppliers and third parties, to ensure deliveries to the site are scheduled and available to meet the supply plan.
