      Job Description

      • Performs preventative maintenance and repair of automatic bowling lane equipment.
      • Performs all types of maintenance and repair of automatic bowling lane equipment (e.g., cleans, waxes and patches bowling pins, pinsetters, lanes and approaches; maintains and replaces conveyor belts, fuses, and indicator lights; repairs and adjusts ball returns, score tables, foul lights and telescores.
      • Performs more complex repairs of automatic bowling lane equipment, (i.e., repairs limit switches, safety switches and three and four way celluloid switching mechanisms);
      • Maintains inventory records and preventative maintenance program; reports need for supplies and/or replacement parts to supervisor.
      • Works at service counter; issues lanes, rents shoes, and checks out billiards equipment;
      • Maintains and operates and bowling alley computer system; instructs patrons in the use of computerized bowling alley equipment.
      • Issues, orders, maintains, and keeps records of bowling equipment and janitorial supplies, parts, and equipment.
      • Maintains and repairs other building equipment such as electrical fixtures and food service appliances (e.g., coffee pot).
      • Assists in departmental bowling programs when requested by the Manager or his/her designee
      • Performs related duties as required.
      • Performs the repair and maintenance of pinsetters and all related equipment. Ensures that equipment is maintained in compliance with established rules and regulations and is adequately equipped to perform their intended function.
      • Performs maintenance and repairs on bowling equipment
      • Performs a variety of duties required in the daily operation of the bowling control counter including first contact with members and guests
      • Maintains the cleanliness of assigned area to insure the safety and enjoyment of members and guests. Performs various duties to assist bowlers
      • Performs work in the cleaning and correction of minor malfunctions of bowling pinsetter operating mechanisms.
      • Maintains bowling lanes, pinsetters, pins, ball returns, bowling balls, scoring equipment and all other related mechanical components.
      • Performs regular servicing and preventative maintenance procedures on all bowling equipment.
      • Clean, repair and adjust automated scoring equipment.
      • Identifies replacement parts and supplies; prepares orders.
      • Performs major rebuilds and overhauls of equipment as necessary.
      • Maintains accurate records of parts, costs and machine performance.
      • Train and oversee hourly pin chaser employees.
      • Responsible for complete PPM, break down maintenance, repair works and corrective works
      • To make sure that all maintenance are done as per the recommendations of the manufacturers O/M manuals.
      • Ensures the application and the execution of good preventive maintenance for related machineries.
      • Directly responsible for their smooth operation
      • Timely updates the preventive maintenance program
      • Is responsible for ordering and stocking of spare parts for continuous operation
      • Maintains the cleanliness of the work place and ensures the self and environmental safety.
      • To perform all other duties as directed from time to time by the DOE
      • To ensure that all communications to external departments or entities is conducted in a professional and timely manner.
      • Complete all planned maintenance reports and spare part ordering to maintain equipment to first class operating condition. Any modifications to the equipment to improve safety and reliability to be performed after taking permission from Director of Engineering
      • Advises on the need for purchase of special paints, thinners, brushes, rollers and other materials necessary to the job
      • Assists other employees in the department as required.
      • Follow and implement engineering standards and engineering directives from Director of Engineering

      Qualifications

      • School education and vocational course with good grade on trade.
      • Necessary Certificates in trade or and trainings
      • Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar capacity
      • Market knowledge of related products.
      • Very good understanding of English language with communication abilities.
