Premium Plus Tequila is an exciting and dynamic category experiencing incredible popularity and growth across the U.S. Focused on the On-Premise, the Brand Ambassador (BA) designs and delivers educational & experiential engagements for trade and consumers alike to feature Beam Suntory’s Premium Tequila portfolio for success now and in the future. Our BAs work with the Advocacy team and internal cross functional partners to develop ways to showcase Suntory's Premium Plus Tequila portfolio as leading the category and desired by savvy audiences and agave experts everywhere.

Role Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Be the face of Beam Suntory's Premium Plus Tequila portfolio with an emphasis on Tres Generaciones and El Tesoro.
• Exhibit expertise and detailed knowledge of the premium agave spirit category at large.
• Be sought after by trade and media for insights on our Premium Plus Tequila portfolio, brand history, heritage and homeplace, production techniques and agave spirit category trends.
• Planning and execution of trade education and events; brand-specific training and Masterclasses, cocktail demonstrations, and categorical education for full portfolio and LTOs.
• Curation and activation of consumer events; dinners, tastings, cocktail demonstrations.
• Participation in Spirits Festivals and Cocktail Seminars such as TOTC, PDXCW.
• Execute launch events for LTOs and new releases in key markets.
• Planning and execution of internal training for Beam Suntory colleagues to ensure up to date education and brand history, LTO knowledge and brand messaging.
• Encourage use and execution of appropriate, on-trend cocktail strategies for both trade and consumers.
• Work with the Senior Premium Plus Tequila Brand Ambassador to ensure up-to-date and relevant training regarding distillery operations.
• Educate Distributor Partners through General Sales Meeting presentations or similar opportunities that showcase Suntory's portfolio or team.
• Host accounts and distributor partners in Mexico at our Distilleries as necessary or needed.
• Participate in weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual Advocacy meetings as required.
• Continue categorical learning to stay current through internal resources (MySU, Founder's Institute) and external resources.
• Successfully manage budgets allocated for travel, events and market support (BI).
• Manage calendars with accountability.

Qualifications

• Ability to work nights and weekends when/if necessary.

• 5 Plus years of Hospitality Experience or 2 plus years of Advocacy Experience at Beam Suntory or elsewhere with references in good standing.

• Expert spirits knowledge.

• Working vocabulary of classic drinks, contemporary cocktails & trends and how to make them.

• Existing Network of Trade Contacts within regional focus markets.

• Natural storyteller & engaging presenter.

• Self-directed achiever.

• Creative mindset.

• Live in the greater Los Angeles area.

• Have, or be able to successfully apply for, a current passport.

• Available for frequent travel as necessary.

Salary Range

The salary range for this role is a base salary of $85,000 - 95,000 along with an annual bonus, 401K match, profit sharing, and medical and wellness benefits. Salary range is commensurate with candidate’s location, experience and skillset.
