      SUMMARY:

      With the goal of enhancing lives, fulfilling dreams and building communities, this position creates and implements content and social media assets within the department’s strategy to support the goals and objectives of the credit union.

      ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

      • Researches, develops, and implements social media strategy including application of brand voice, platform usage, content approach, ads, and campaigns.
      • Creates and schedules written and visual content for social media channels. This includes sourcing photos, video, researching content, writing captions, etc.
      • Develops social media style guide that is consistent with our brand voice. This guide will be created and updated with partnership from the MarCom team of experts and direction from department leaders.
        • Maintains and updates social media style guide in partnership with the AVP Branding and Marketing. Makes recommendations, produces sample content and conducts regular “pulse checks” with leadership to solicit buy in and re-alignment.
      • Works closely with the Design Production Manager and MarCom Strategist to ensure content is branded, strategic and culturally relevant.
      • Partners with the communications team to develop and deploy social content that is cohesive with and in alignment with org communications.
      • Creates a social content calendar quarterly that aligns with other MarCom campaigns and calendars.
      • Manages usage of a social platform such as Sprout or Hootsuite to schedule and manage content and respond to consumer complaints.
      • This position requires on-call responsiveness during nights and weekends, with partnership from cross-trained teammates.
      • Writes and edits content for communication channels including but not limited to web, email, newsletters, etc. with Numerica’s brand voice. Writes campaign/creative briefs as needed.
      • Serves members and nonmembers by replying to comments and messages on all social platforms within the agreed upon SLA timelines.
      • Supports crisis communication efforts with social media and communication channels.
      • Proposes and executes new social activations that tie into our sponsor partnerships.
      • Partners with Compliance for approvals of content, rules and regulations, and giveaways.
      • Utilizes project management software (such as Connections, Trello, Excel) to track, assign and report out on project details. Reports out on social performance monthly (and by campaign) with the ability to summarize key insights for senior leadership.
      • Monitors the ticketing system and reassign/renegotiates tickets as necessary.
      • Maintains knowledge and adheres to all BSA regulations and compliance standards on internal and external policies.

      Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet all production and distribution schedules. Contributes to the organization's mission statement and goals by providing the highest quality of service, treating each person professionally, with warmth, courtesy, and respect. Makes a personal effort to make members feel they belong and are important to the credit union.

      EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

      Minimum: Bachelor’s degree; plus three to five years practical experience in a marketing function, or any combination of skills and experience equivalent to above requirements.

      CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

      No requirement.

      SKILLS and ABILITIES:

      • Advanced communication and copywriting skills.
      • A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Work involves extensive personal contact with others and/or is usually of a personal or sensitive nature. Work may involve motivating or influencing others.
      • Team player-works to ensure team goals are met or exceeded
      • General understanding of credit union products and services
      • Knowledge of marketing principles, advertising, public relations and media
      • Strong organizational skills
      • Strong attention to detail
      • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
      • Familiarity with general business office equipment including copiers, scanners, business phones
      • Ability to lift up to 25lbs.
