The Brand Home Manager is responsible for ensuring a memorable brand experience which is innovative and world class with a focus on building brand image, increasing guest numbers and satisfaction, promoting and educating whilst optimizing profit.
Key Responsibilities:
· Co-ordinate and manage both Visitor and eCommerce sites.
· Increase footfall to JC (tours & corporate bookings) and curate memorable experiences for guests that drive affinity for SA wines.
· Manage and grow the e-commerce, D to C channel- online sales of premier brands.
· Advocate the growth of the South African wines categories.
· Partner with the Marketing team in aligning strategies and plans.
· Responsible for operational management of brand homes- renovations/stock management/venue utilization/maintenance.
· Deliver on the Brand Home strategy to maximize the branded consumer experience and optimize profit.
· Implement a tourism strategy to expand the potential Brand Home target market and increase guest numbers.
· Compile and manage the agreed brand home annual income, expenditure, and guest targets.
· Complete and analyze all Monthly brand home sales, statistics, and variance reports.
· Drive functions, conferences, and events at the brand homes.
· Support the brand team in managing wine tastings.
· Ensure that the QMS is updated, maintained, and implemented.
· Ensure that the monthly reports and audits are completed.
· Build & maintain effective relationships with internal & external partners.
· Develop and maintain a comprehensive individual brand home service, sales and consumer interaction training program based on industry best practices and aligned with brand strategy.
· Assist with agreed business deliverables for JC work partners and suppliers, to ensure that they are meeting company performance standards and values.
· Ensure adherence to all agreed SLA’s with internal and external Brand partners to guarantee alignment with company performance standards and brand strategies.
· Drive continuous improvement and innovation through implementation of new ideas and improved methods, systems, and work processes.
Education & Experience:
· A relevant and recognized marketing or hospitality qualification.
· Minimum 5 years of relevant experience spanning Hospitality/Marketing/Ecommerce
· Have a passion for brands and brand building.
· Digital native - fluent with E-commerce strategies and social media.
· Capable presenter & communicator.
· Strong EQ, excellent verbal, and written communication skills.
· Strong analytical, and computer skills.
· Excellent organizational skills and the ability to follow through on projects with minimal supervision.
· Able to interact effectively with staff and other departments within the Newco group and or agencies/vendors/customers.
· Ability to work weekend and public holidays.
