10+ years of experience in brand management, brand innovation, digital strategy, or social media, with a strong track record of success.
Proven ability to think creatively and drive breakthrough ideas.
Proven experience in managing and executing integrated marketing campaigns, both in agency and in-house settings.
Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams of creatives and strategists, fostering innovation and collaboration.
Proficiency in working with production teams to efficiently bring creative ideas into the market.
Strong understanding of market research and consumer insights.
Strategic thinker with the ability to align innovative efforts with broader business objectives.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field

This role was designed for the person who spends their day asking “what if?” in order to make ideas bolder, inspire creative teams, drive major results, and dream in possibility. As the Director of Brand Innovation, you will be responsible for leading the charge in developing and implementing innovative, creative strategies to elevate our brand and create conversation.
You will lead a culture-and-consumer-obsessed team who is ready to break traditional marketing with Yahoo’s resurgence. The team will support the Yahoo brand, Yahoo Sports, Yahoo Finance, and Yahoo Home Ecosystem (News, Mail, Search) by concepting ideas to drive mass earned media that get people to take action.
You will be at the forefront of driving creative and groundbreaking brand initiatives, positioning Yahoo to win in culture. Your role will be crucial in shaping the future of Yahoo, setting the standard for innovation, and leveling up the work across teams.
Two Key Focus Areas Responsibilities:
1. Support cross-functional teams to develop campaigns and connect product work to culture.
2. Identify gaps in the marketing calendar and proactively generate opportunities to keep Yahoo top of mind for consumers.

The compensation for this position ranges from $123,005.00 - $267,335.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, in addition to equity incentives.
