Job Details:
This position is responsible for maintaining internal reports using Microsoft Office applications, internal systems, and external databases including IRI, Spectra, Mintel, and NPD; creating ad hoc reports; any other project needs of the marketing managers on the team. Based on initiative, this position offers the potential for exposure to accounting systems, sales analysis, and a financial perspective; customer service; large corporate environment; consumer packaged goods marketing experience; business planning; and enhancement of computer skills. Attend and participate in product tastings to ensure spec adherence, determine if product meets quality and taste expectations. This role will support RVAP team cross functionally.
This role requires the selected candidate to work in office at Tyson Foods’ Springdale, AR World Headquarters and must live within a commutable range of the office year-round to be considered. Resume with expected graduation date listed is required for consideration.
REQUIREMENTS: Education: Incoming sophomore, junior, senior, or MBA with at least one year of school remaining. If you are pursuing further education after completion of your degree, please note this on your resume. Supply Chain, Marketing, or Finance majors preferred.
Experience: Previous work experience in any field.
Computer Skills: Strong computer skills with a working knowledge of Excel, familiarity with Access, Word, and PowerPoint.
Special Skills: Ability to multitask; motivated self-starter.
Position Specific Requirements: This role is a year-round opportunity that requires the selected candidate to work 15 – 20 hours per week during the school year, and as many as 40 hours per week during the summer. This role also requires the selected candidate to work in office at Tyson Foods’ Springdale, AR World Headquarters.
