      Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('SpinCo') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.

      Job Description

      The Marketing Coordinator will support the Brand Marketing team for VERSANT’s cable networks: USA, SYFY, Oxygen and E!, in addition to Sports. They will manage the day-to-day administrative functions and interact with the internal leadership team, clients, networks and all personnel.

      The Coordinator will also support a highly motivated marketing team in concepting, developing and executing marketing campaigns for VERSANT’s original series and acquisitions. This includes brand initiatives across networks such as experiential marketing programs, tentpole cultural events and activations, strategic partnerships, and E-commerce merchandising initiatives – as well as strategy development and data interpretation. The Coordinator role will also be responsible for monitoring cultural trends on both a macro and micro level and conducting competitive research to inform our marketing and promotional strategies. The ideal candidate will have a creative sensibility and strategic acumen, strong communication skills, will be a highly organized self-starter while demonstrating thorough attention to detail, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

      Responsibilities:

      • Provide heavy administrative support, i.e. answering phones, scheduling meetings, presentation logistics, organizing marketing materials. Support includes but is not limited to:
        • Coordinating travel and expenses reports for Marketing executive(s)
        • Maintaining a department vacation/OOO calendar
        • Planning department internal events including A/V, scheduling, presentations
        • Key point of contact with Senior Executives across the company
      • Help Brand Marketing team in day-to-day communications with internal key stakeholders, cross functional team leads, and external agency partners – tracking department deliverables and deadlines per project
      • Assist in strategy development - helping evaluate series data points and maintain organizational tools and documentation
      • Aid in brainstorming, planning, and executing fresh ideas for activations across owned channels, experiential, out of home, promotional partnerships, multi-market stunts, with flawless attention to detail
      • Operate as point person within the department on cultural insights and research, monitoring and proactively sharing emerging trends across multiple industries to inform brand and show campaign strategies and ideation
      • Serve as main point of contact for marketing asset requests for assigned projects, by coordinating logistics and overseeing timelines and deliverables
      • Support overseeing the department’s marketing budget – processing and coding invoices, reporting monthly pacing, and tracing spends per project

      Additional Requirements:

      • Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
      • This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
