      Our offices are based in the heart of the Loop in downtown Chicago, but we are pleased to note that our Chicago office is operating on a hybrid work model (mix of in-office and remote work).

      Position Summary:

      The Parking Spot is actively hiring for a Brand Marketing Manager to join our team in Chicago! Bring your 4-5 years of marketing experience to serve as our brand champion. Responsible for managing agency partners and delivering marketing programs to introduce the brand and category to new customers to support the growth and expansion of The Parking Spot. The Brand Marketing Manager will assist in defining the brand positioning and will work alongside other marketing team members to ensure our brand promise is upheld through all channels of communication. The Brand Marketing Manager will also be responsible for maintaining our brand guidelines and ensuring consistent, on-brand execution throughout all 38 of our locations nationwide.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Serve as our brand champion, protecting both the brand voice and look and feel across both internal and external materials.
      • Assist in defining, shaping, and maintaining our brand across all channels both B2C and B2B.
      • Understands our key target audience, looking for opportunities to introduce our brand and category to new potential customers.
      • Manage creative partners/agencies directing them to produce marketing materials in both digital and print.
      • Manage agencies, supporting opportunities to fill “top of the funnel” through new channels including; influencers, paid media, and additional paid digital (e.g. Nextdoor, Youtube, CTV).
      • Create and maintain organic social media strategy. Work with Brand Marketing Specialist to create content calendar across owned social channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn).
      • Understand and evaluate brand awareness tactics providing recommendations by market based on need.
      • Identify opportunities and provide recommendations for billboards with media planning/buying partner.
      • Be a customer advocate in all marketing campaigns, website and app, ensuring that the brand and our customers are at the heart of our created communications.

      Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

      • 4-5 years of professional work experience in brand, communications, or marketing.
      • Experience working with agencies using both traditional and digital tactics to increase brand awareness.
      • Experience managing or working alongside internal or external design teams.
      • Ability to evaluate and deliver creative feedback and effectively synthesize collective feedback coming from various stakeholders.
      • Understand data – both business and brand awareness to give context on why we should prioritize a specific activity.
      • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
      • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively work cross functionally within the organization.
      • Project management experience.
      • Self-starter, able to work autonomously and be a team player.
      • Design experience with Canva, Photoshop, or Adobe is a plus, but not a requirement.
