      Job Title: Brand Protection Data Analyst

      Location: Remote

      Duration: 12 months (With possibility of extension)

      Shift: Day Shift

      Job Description:

      Summary

      • As a member of the Product Lifecycle & Protection Team, you will analyze and visualize various sources of Brand Protection data related to pharmaceutical crime to help identify targets and trends and create trusted intelligence reports with well-reasoned recommendations.
      • You will also support members of the Product Lifecycle & Protection team on other aspects of Brand Protection and process automation.

      Role:

      • Conducts data analysis of the digital landscape to identify pharmaceutical crime (counterfeit, diversion, brand abuse).
      • Gathers and analyzes the content of websites, social media platforms, and B2B/B2C marketplace platforms to identify trends/patterns, correlations, and suspect high-value targets.
      • Analyze and identify core online pharmacy networks that may operate thousands of illegal online pharmacies.
      • Produce quality and innovative intelligence and analytical reports.
      • Evaluate, collate and develop all data, information and intelligence.
      • Prepare and deliver clear, succinct reports and data visualizations to effectively and concisely communicate trends and targets and to guide decision-making for the Product Protection team.
      • Manage and develop tools for intelligence or analytical reports.
      • Support team with process automation initiatives.

      Skills:

      • The ideal candidate must have a high degree of analytical ability, organization, resourcefulness, and critical thinking skills.
      • Fundamental understanding of methods and techniques used in researching, compiling, sorting, evaluating and analyzing pharmaceutical crimes.
      • Knowledge of Open-Source investigative and hunting tools (OSINT).
      • Ability to create analytical summary reports, “hot spot' maps, matrices, spreadsheets and intelligence charts.
      • Experience creating dashboards/visualizations using, e.g., Tableau (or similar).
      • Strong problem-solving skills are preferred.
      • Knowledge of branding/trademark issues is beneficial.
      • Ability to work independently, effectively prioritize and manage your time.
      • Highly organized; ability to manage multiple priorities and with excellent follow-up skills.
      • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively convey complex information.
      • Attention to detail.
      • Constantly works within and adhering to strict confidentiality protocols.
