      Brand Storytelling Intern

Everyone loves a good story. They spark our curiosity, open our minds and make us feel connected. And the ability to tell stories in a way that really resonates? That’s a powerful skill — one you can hone next summer with us at Cox.

As our Brand Storytelling Intern, you’ll have the opportunity to bring stories about our people, projects and workplace culture to life on the Cox careers blog and beyond. It’s a hands-on role where you’ll help us put into words what it’s really like to work at Cox, whether it’s through a glimpse into a day in the life or a career journey worth celebrating.

If you love writing and want to make a real impact through storytelling, let’s talk!

      What You’ll Do

In this role, you’ll turn real-world conversations into captivating stories. Here’s more on what that looks like:

      • Creating new Cox Careers blog posts from pitch to publication, including conducting employee interviews, writing articles and making revisions as directed.
      • Preparing for interviews by researching subjects and crafting thoughtful questions.
      • Assisting with short-form copywriting projects as needed, such as writing display ad copy, video scripts, social media captions and more.
      • Brainstorming and developing new story ideas that resonate with our audiences.
      • Assisting with other content-related projects as needed.

      What’s in It for You?

      • Hands-on content experience and the freedom to unleash your creativity in a supportive team environment.
      • The chance to develop your professional skills with real accountability and feedback.
      • The opportunity to meet and network with company leaders and expand your professional network.
      • A fresh portfolio of digital content with your byline.

      Who You Are

You’re a strong writer who knows how to conjure vivid imagery, capture a reader’s attention and adhere to brand tone and voice. You have a keen eye for copyediting and don’t let spelling, grammatical or stylistic errors pass you by. You are also:

      • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s program marketing, communications, advertising, journalism, English or a related field.
      • Over-the-top organized, extraordinary with details, and a great communicator, on paper and in person.
      • An analytical thinker and problem solver with relationship-building and organizational skills.
      • Able to brainstorm in a collaborative setting, as well as explore new ideas independently.
      • Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite and online research.
      • Currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship.

Make your mark through the art of storytelling. Join Cox today!
