- A persuasive storyteller, creative and original thinker who can uncover the problem we need to solve and the insights we need to do it.
- A candidate comfortable working across the organization to extract information from our business partners and leaders to translate their needs into marketing objectives, briefs, and strategies.
- An ability to execute multiple priority projects and briefs simultaneously.
- Experience working with matrixed global brands and multi-division organizations with separate target audiences for each business unit and corporate area.
- Established capability to own and develop briefs that are clear, concise and inspiring – leading to inspirational creative work from internal creative teams and agency partners.
- Demonstrated ability to translate data, insights and competitive landscape analysis into meaningful and actionable marketing insights and briefs. Ability to review marketplace trends and formulate implications recommendations.
- Demonstrated ability to build stories in presentation form independently and lead brainstorm/idea generation sessions and creative briefings to uncover new opportunities.
- 10+ years of experience in brand or product planning/strategy, either in-house or at a creative or brand agency.

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Brand Strategy Lead to join our Marketing & Communications team. This role is located in New York, NY and is HYBRID.
We’re looking for a brand planning/strategist candidate that has proven experience building and growing brands, inspiring creative teams with well thought out analysis and briefs. We’re Someone who can develop impactful marketing. We’re seeking someone who can develop impactful marketing and who thrives in a highly collaborative and fluid environment. The candidate must be able to influence without authority and dive deep into the details of our industry.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $100,000 and $170,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.About the company
