      About the Job:

      The Real Deal is seeking a seasoned Branded Content Director to oversee the execution of multi-platform advertising campaigns that span custom articles, video, and high-impact sponsorships. In this client-facing leadership role, you'll manage branded content production from kickoff to delivery, working across departments to ensure timelines, creative quality, and campaign goals are met. You’ll also lead a small but mighty team, collaborate with writers, editors, designers, and video producers, and be instrumental in optimizing campaign performance and client satisfaction.       Client Relationship & Campaign Management:

      Lead kickoff calls and review timelines for all deliverables related to cobranded articles and video campaigns

      Work cross-functionally with Ad Ops and Digital teams to ensure campaigns are launched, managed, and optimized for engagement and client goals

      Ensure timely campaign reporting and campaign benchmarks across all platforms are maintained.

      Continuously identify ways to optimize campaigns for client satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling.

      Project Management:

      For cobranded written content, including articles, market surveys and whitepapers, work with writers, and the Ad Ops team to ensure benchmarks and timelines are met, while lending support where needed to ensure a successful outcome.

      For cobranded video projects, collaborate with Video team with the video team to ensure that the project timeline and scope of work is established based on the client’s objectives.

      Ensure that any additional media such as renderings, existing videos, and any photo representation as well as client branding, logos, and even headshots are provided for the Design and Production team to create all promotional assets.

      Monitor campaigns’ performance for desired outcomes; collaborate with Project Manager to adjust promotional journey when necessary

      Some travel required to oversee video shoots for key accounts or first-time clients.

      Team Management and Administrative Responsibilities

      Oversee two direct reports, including a project manager and in-house editor, while collaborating closely with Design and Production teams and a stable of freelancers

      Work closely with Finance team to reconcile department P&L on a monthly basis based on campaign status and/or completion

      Manage department budget and all associated expenses

      Requirements

      7+ years of experience in branded content, content marketing, or campaign management within media, publishing, or advertising

      Proven ability to manage client relationships and lead multi-platform campaigns from kickoff to completion

      Strong project management skills with experience coordinating cross-functional teams and meeting tight deadlines

      Experience overseeing direct reports and freelancers while managing department budgets and campaign performance

      Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a focus on client satisfaction and campaign optimization
