- MAINTAINS THE ENTIRE BUFFET BY KEEPING ALL FOOD LOOKING FRESH AND FULL
- MAINTAIN CLEANLINESS OF ALL AREAS AT ALL TIMES
- MAINTAIN PROPER STOCKING LEVELS OF ALL UTENSILS AND CHINA
- FOLLOW ALL SAFETY AND SANITATION PROCEDURES
- DUE TO THE NATURE OF THE HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY, EMPLOYEES MAY BE REQUIRED TO WORK VARYING SCHEDULES TO REFLECT THE BUSINESS NEEDS OF THE HOTEL.
- PERFORM ANY GENERAL CLEANING TASKS USING STANDARD HOTEL CLEANING PRODUCTS AS ASSIGNED BY SUPERVISOR TO ADHERE TO HEALTH STANDARDS
- PERFORM ALL ASSIGNED SIDE WORK TO INCLUDE REPLENISHING OF ALL SUPPLEMENTS OF THE BUFFET.
- PERFORM OTHER DUTIES AS REQUESTED SUCH AS ANSWERING TELEPHONES AND TAKING ROOM SERVICE ORDERS, HANDLE SPECIAL GUEST REQUESTS, AND GREET AND SEAT GUESTS.
- ASSIST SERVERS WHEN NEEDED
- ASSIST OTHER DEPARTMENTS AS DIRECTED
- MUST HAVE BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF FOOD AND BEVERAGE PREPARATION, SERVICE STANDARDS, AND GUEST RELATIONS AND ETIQUETTE.
- ABILITY TO REMEMBER, RECITE, AND PROMOTE THE VARIETY OF SIDEBOARD ITEMS.
- ABILITY TO TRANSPORT LARGE TRAYS WEIGHTING UP TO 40LBS. THROUGH A CROWDED ROOM ON A CONTINUOUS BASIS.
- ABILITY TO READ, SPEAK AND UNDERSTAND THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE IN ORDER TO COMMUNICATE WITH GUESTS AND TAKE ORDERS.
- HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR EQUIVALENT PREFERRED.
- RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE PREFERRED.
- CHEMICALS/AGENTS USED: CLEANING CHEMICALS, AEROSOL SPRAYS USED TO PERFORM FUNCTION.
