- Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center is a 128-bed, full-service, acute-care community hospital with a new emergency department, a state-of-the-art maternity center, a women's imaging center, and an ICU.

- The Breast Navigator functions as a clinical resource and advocate with the goal of ensuring timely, seamless and efficient access for patients of the breast surgery practice. Her/his main area of focus is to improve access and patient experience as well as to provide patient education.
- Meets newly diagnosed breast cancer patients on their initial consultation with the breast surgeon to provide educational and emotional support and assistance.
- Assess barriers to care and provide any needed support for patients and their families.
- Graduate of a NLN/AACN accredited program in nursing
- Previous employment in Breast Health and Women’s Center.
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure by the NJ State Board of Nursing Examiners.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification
- Must have a minimum of one (1) year experience required; three (3) years of experience preferred
