What will you do?
The focus of this position is to partner with independent insurance brokers through the provision of advice and support on insurance policies and products. The incumbent should possess an in-depth knowledge of the insurance industry and its products to ensure business profitability by securing inflows of quality business while building and upholding professional and healthy relations with brokers.
What will make you successful in this role?
Building and maintaining business relationships with brokers.
Discussing and assessing client’s current and future insurance needs with brokers.
Researching and comparing insurance products from various companies; industry trends and any special needs.
Maximising on broker share business through promoting the benefit inherent in Sanlam Namibia product set.
Design/develop and implement marketing strategies and campaigns to facilitate business sales.
Facilitating of product training and ensuring accreditation.
Facilitating of all relevant administration processes to ensure prompt, effective and efficient solutions and service delivery to the brokers.
Interviewing prospective brokers and facilitating the onboarding process
Qualification and Experience
Grade 12 and a Bachelor Degree, CFP or similar qualification in relevant fields will be an advantage.
Minimum of two years appropriate sales and support experience in the financial services sector, preferably as a broker consultant and/or sales management role.
Excellent English (verbal & written) language skills. An additional local Namibian language will be a competitive advantage.
Computer Literate: MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel & PowerPoint) and Company's software.
