You will be providing technical support to clients, account executives and brokers for Guy Carpenter’s market leading non-marine retro and treaty portfolio.
You will be responsible for a range of operational support activities throughout the reinsurance placement process, including the preparation of all types of documentation.
We would like you to participate in client, reinsurer and team meetings, and have an active support role in the growth of our business.

Help account executives and brokers with the preparation of submissions and other placement exhibits.
Control the contract drafting process and the production of final contract documentation.
Monitor all ongoing placement transactions and contractual requirements.
Have a working knowledge of front-end broking systems (OpenTWINS).
Create strong relationships with our service teams to ensure timely processing, credit control and resolution of queries.
Have a strong working knowledge of premium accounting, claims and proportional treaty administration.
Working with our global offices in Bermuda, Far East and Europe
Mentor and provide on the job training to junior members of the broker support team.
Treaty reinsurance experience from dealing with London and International markets.
Knowledge of policy wordings and the ability to draft bespoke policy forms when required.
Ability to prioritise workload.
Good communication and interpersonal skills – both oral and written.
Ability to work under pressure with excellent numerical skills.
Negotiation and influencing skills.
Be organised with excellent attention to detail.
PC Literacy to include Microsoft Office Applications including Excel.
Ability to provide a consultative service.
Exceptional relationship management skills and evidence of building relationships.
Excellent presentation skills and ability to influence decisions at all levels.
