- The BSFT On-Site Supervisor must have achieved competency in delivering all BSFT behavioral dimensions, scoring at a minimum 3.5 on Joining, Creating a Context for Change/ Reframing, Tracking and Eliciting and Restructuring on the Therapy Fidelity Checklist.
- Ensure therapists address adolescent high-risk behaviors through resolving maladaptive family interactions, while providing solution-focused case management services to address and resolve additional family needs that place children at risk
- Ensure that the fidelity to the BSFT model is maintained above 3.5 by coaching and modeling to therapists
- Provides weekly supervision/coaching to therapists to strengthen their clinical and SBC skills and practice, enabling them to provide appropriate and consistent services through ongoing training and skills development
- Handle case-related crises, including incidents involving reports to the State Central Registry.
- Coordinate unit staff meetings on a monthly basis and ensure that efficient administrative procedures are in place within the unit.
- Ensure appropriate utilization of State and City databases.
- Provides ongoing management, direction and support to staff, ensuring correct implementation of Agency policies and procedures and high standards of timeliness, quality and accuracy.
- Support staff on home visits, in internal case conferences and external Elevated Risk and Safety conferences.
- Ensure the timely completion of mandated reports and documentation of all case activities.
- Ensure the required casework contacts in all cases are conducted in a timely manner
- Works with the Program Director to conduct outreach to outside community agencies and establish effective communication with ACS.
- Exhibits effective verbal and written communication/presentation skills.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

About the Program
Graham Windham is one of the few organizations in New York City to implement Brief Strategic Family Therapy (BSFT). The BSFT Program is located in Manhattan it is an evidence based model and it offers home-based intensive therapy to families at risk of removal of children to foster care. The BSFT model is a brief family intervention for children and youth with serious behavior problems and/or drug use. The BSFT intervention works well for families with poor behavior management and problematic relationships. The intervention identifies patterns of family interaction and improves them to restore effective parental leadership and involvement with the youth. BSFT also seeks to reduce drug use and delinquency in youth. BSFT therapists meet weekly with families and work with all family members.
Position Overview:
The role of the BSFT On-Site supervisor is to provide leadership to the BSFT team and sustain fidelity BSFT at that program for the long term. Implementing an evidence based model like BSFT in a community setting requires a BSFT On-Site Supervisor with a pioneering spirit, and who is resilient and flexible. The individual should be confident about the model and its effectiveness, energizing and motivating the team towards competence in the BSFT intervention.
The BSFT On-Site Supervisor must be fully committed to providing family therapy services. Moreover, they must believe in the efficacy of family therapy and have conceptual mastery of BSFT theory and practice. A relational rather than an individual focus must guide all their thinking and behavior in therapy and supervision.

Qualifications:
LCSW or LMSW preferred; trained in BSFT model preferred; 5 years supervisory clinical experience; Bilingual English/Spanish preferred; Excellent organizational, written and communication skills; Proficient in MS Office; NYS Connections and Promis; Commitment to work from a strength based, youth and family development perspective.
