      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Manage the full lifecycle of assigned awards, primarily contracts, and provide support for cooperative agreements and grants
      - Coordinate administrative actions related to award management and maintain data in business systems
      - Conduct financial monitoring and reconciliation, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations
      - Lead proposal development and submission processes, including budget preparation and compliance with sponsor requirements
      - Analyze financial data to identify risks and opportunities, providing actionable recommendations

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor’s degree in a relevant academic discipline
      - Minimum of 5 years of related experience in budget development and financial analysis
      - Advanced knowledge of federal awards lifecycle, particularly with contracts and compliance requirements
      - Proficient in applying government regulations, including OMB Uniform Guidance
      - Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate complex financial information effectively

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience working with NOAA contractual vehicles
      - Master’s degree in a relevant field with at least 3 years of related experience
      - Familiarity with UCAR proposal platforms and management systems
      - Proven ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders
      - Experience in process improvement and developing best practices
